The Jyan Waespe Memorial Car Show will take place at William Mason High School, the alma mater of Jyan and many of his friends. This venue holds a special significance, as it’s where Jyan shared countless memories with his peers, making it the perfect place to honor his legacy with a community event that gives back.
The car show is being set up to feature a wide range of vehicles, with awards given in categories like Luxury, Custom, Classic, and Motorcycle. It’s a gathering of car enthusiasts and supporters who want to celebrate both Jyan’s passion for cars and his commitment to the community. Car clubs will also have booths set up, allowing attendees to explore and connect with local clubs.
In addition to the cars, the event will include a live DJ, and food trucks, making it a fun-filled day for all ages. But most importantly, the event is a fundraiser with all proceeds going towards scholarships for young people pursuing ASE & other certifications to build skills for their future careers in the automotive industry. By coming together at Jyan’s former high school, the community can celebrate his memory while supporting the next generation of automotive mechanics.
